RUFINO SP are industrial roof fans with horizontal air discharge. The RUFINO SP series fans have been created especially for users who need a roof fan to work in difficult conditions. Industrial facilities such as production halls, workshops or large-scale warehouses require very effective ventilation. In such facilities, the air is often polluted with various types of harmful substances (dusts, gases or mists). In this type of installations, an ordinary lightweight fan does not work (frequent component failures, poor flow parameters). The RUFINO SP fan has been designed for facilities with such contaminants as: welding dust, harmful gases, exhaust fumes, oil mist or technological slurry from the coolant.
One of the most common causes of damage to fans operating in a polluted environment is motor damage. In the RUFINO SP fan, the motor is placed in a separate chamber, the pumped medium has no direct contact with the motor or electrical components, thanks to which the settling dirt does not limit the cooling of the motor. The engine uses a number of technological improvements that increase its service life (reinforced bearing discs, bearings for vertical operation, additional fan cooling the engine.
The RUFINO SP series fans have a radial impeller with backward curved blades. The PFD fan impeller is distinguished by very good flow parameters with low noise emission (models with low-speed and medium-speed motors). RUFINO SP fans are also available in a high-pressure version (high-speed motors), thanks to which they can also work with local exhausts, e.g. catering hoods, welding arms or exhaust fumes.
The advantage of RUFINO SP type roof fans is their high resistance to weather conditions. The fan housing is protected against corrosion with polyester (powder painting using the oven method). The engine is covered with a dome that guarantees very good ventilation of the engine and protection against rain.
The fan is equipped with a round mounting flange for mounting on B/I and B/II type roof bases. Thanks to the use of a flange, the fan can be easily removed from the installation for service or cleaning. The air outlet has been covered with a special protective mesh, which protects against rodents and birds and at the same time allows easy cleaning of the rotor blades, e.g. washing with a pressure washer.
All RUFINO SP fans are designed for continuous operation. They can pump air with a constant temperature up to 60 degrees Celsius. Fans can also be made for higher temperatures up to 150 degrees Celsius. Thanks to this, they will prove themselves as extractors of technological heat from furnaces, smokehouses, as well as supporting the extraction of fumes and exhaust gases. All RUFINO SP fans are designed for very precise speed control with frequency converters. For users who do not require precise regulation, some RUFINO SP models have been adapted for simple and very effective voltage regulation with transformer regulators. (medium and low speed models with single-phase motors).
