axial roof, horizontal exhaust
WODE are explosion-proof roof fans. WODE series fans meet the requirements of the EU ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU on devices intended for use in potentially explosive atmospheres.
Zone designation:
Z1 – zone in which a mixture of gases, vapors or mists may occur under normal operating conditions.
Z2 – zone where there is a low probability of an explosive mixture of gases, vapors or mists, where the explosive mixture may occur only for a short time.
Z22 – a zone where there is a low probability of an explosive dust mixture and there is a short time, e.g. during a breakdown.
WODE fans have a horizontal air discharge, are characterized by a light and compact design, thanks to which they can be mounted on most roofing materials. Fans of this series are mainly used for general ventilation of industrial premises where there is a risk of gas or dust explosion. They are used, among others, in battery rooms, laboratories, paint shops, gas stations, refineries and sewage treatment plants.
Fans designed for flange mounting on standardized round roof bases (B/I; B/II) or B/C plinth bases. The fans of the WODE series use explosion-proof motors for zone 1, not adapted to speed regulation, placed in the medium line (it is also possible to make a motor adapted to speed regulation at the customer’s request). The fans are equipped with impellers made of anti-electrostatic plastic. The fan casing is made of steel sheet covered with a special anti-electrostatic coating. At the customer’s special request, it is also possible to make it of acid-resistant steel.
