centrifugal, for local extractions
WPD is a series of roof fans dedicated to local exhaust. Traditional roof fans usually work as suction in vacuum installations. WPD fans are adapted to suction and force operation, thanks to which they can be placed both at the end and in the middle of the ventilation system. High static pressure and high efficiency make them commonly used for various types of technological extraction, e.g. for welding arms, extraction tables; flue exhausts, hoods, etc. WPD series fans work well wherever there is a need to extract medium under high pressure (e.g. installations equipped with fine air filters). A special advantage of the WPD is the possibility of installing an acoustic silencer, which significantly reduces noise emissions.
The fan housing is made of powder-coated steel, a metal (steel or aluminum, depending on the model) radial impeller is used for pumping dirty air. The fan is driven by a three-phase induction motor with reinforced bearings, adapted to control rotation with an inverter.
The fan inlet is finished with a mounting flange. WPD fans can be mounted on typical B/I roof bases; B/II or on the wall using WPD brackets. In addition to the fan, we recommend dedicated mounting stubs, noise silencers and protective grids.
